1. General Information
Pocket Guide Japan provides personalized travel support services for visitors to Japan. Our services include restaurant recommendations and reservations, local spot suggestions, shopping guidance, and live chat support via WhatsApp. Additional services may be offered as optional extras.
2. Booking and Payment
- Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
- All prices are listed in US Dollar and Japanese Yen (JPY) and include applicable taxes unless noted.
- Payments are processed through secure third-party platforms.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the start of the service are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are non-refundable.
- In case of no-shows or failure to respond during the service period, no refunds will be issued.
4. Changes to Your Booking
- Minor changes may be accepted up to 24 hours before your service begins.
- Any major change requests (e.g., different date or service type) may incur additional fees and are subject to availability.
5. Service Limitations
- iConcierge is an online concierge service and does not include physical accompaniment unless purchased as an optional add-on.
- Recommendations and reservations are made based on user preferences and availability at the time of booking.
- We cannot guarantee restaurant or activity availability during peak periods.
6. User Responsibilities
- Clients must provide accurate information (preferences, allergies, etc.) prior to the service.
- Clients must ensure their WhatsApp is active and reachable during the service period.
- Pocket Guide Japan is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.
7. Liability
- While we aim to provide accurate and helpful recommendations, Pocket Guide Japan is not liable for any dissatisfaction, delay, loss, or injury that may occur during third-party services (e.g., restaurants, shops, transportation).
- We are not responsible for force majeure events such as natural disasters, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances.
8. Privacy
- Personal data is collected only for the purpose of providing concierge services.
- We do not sell or share personal data with third parties, except where necessary for service fulfillment (e.g., making a reservation).
